Six-page site for a garden design studio, ported from WordPress to Next.js.

Problem

Replace a WordPress theme and an Elementor plugin with something a small studio can host for pennies, keeping the design intact.

Approach

Pages as data, one hand-written stylesheet with design tokens, scroll reveal through IntersectionObserver, sitemap and robots, photos from Unsplash’s CDN through a custom loader, static export.

What I took from it

A port is a chance to delete: the Elementor widgets became thirteen section components and four hundred lines of CSS.
